Having a welcome break

On Thursday i am off for a long weekend with my Wife and Son to see my Sister and family in Hull and also to so some Christmas shopping (can't believe it's here again).

This break couldn't have come at a better time as i have been feeling a bit lathargic in training recently, and after my latest training session on saturday which i only managed 80% of, my hamstrings have been very tired and sore to the extent i couldn't run at all yesterday.
They feel a bit better today so will do a nice easy 30 minute run tonight to hopefully loosten them up.
I am taking my running stuff with me but am only intending to do a couple of short easy runs so hopefully when i start training proper again next tuesday 8th i will be refreshed.

Well done to Kev,Gail, Sarah and Gemma on great performances over the weekend. It sounds like the weather was ideal but conditions underfoot were a little soft, but that was to be expected after all the recent rain.

On Sunday 6th December it's round 3 of the Cross Country at Crossags (Ramsey). You can find information as per previous rounds at http://www.iomaa.info/crosscountry.htm. Signing on will be from 1 (ish).
Parking is a bit more of a problem at Crossags than at the other venues, so if you can car share and/or get there early to avoid congestion it will help.

Good luck to you all!!
