Well we had some more good performances at Nobles Park on Sunday. Conditions were muddy in places, but that just added to the fun, it is Cross Country after all!!!
Kev "the machine" Loundes took another race by the scruff of the neck and breezed to victory in the mens race.
Gail Griffiths turned the tables on Jackie Lee in what is proving to be a very interesting battle.
Since Sunday i have trying to think of negative things to say about my run, but i am struggling to find anything really, i had a good race, i got a good start and tucked in behind Simon,Ed, Darren and Paul C.
Ed and Simon started to pull away towards the end of the first lap so i passed Darren and Paul and tried to keep them in sight, Simon pulled away from Ed and likewise Ed from me.
I hoped to try and close the gap on Ed on the last lap, but he was too strong and the gap increased if anything.
Overall very pleased, i feel i am getting fitter with each training session, so hopefully if i can stay away from injury and illness i can have a good Lancs Champs in Jan.
I am away for the next Manx Gas round at Crossags unfortunately, but i will keep you all posted as to how my training is going and my thoughts on Round 3 at Crossags which is on Sunday 6th December.
